Coach
Andrei Puchkou brings over a decade of elite-level coaching experience to the CrossFit Milford team, with a background rooted in competitive sport and high-performance training. Originally from Belarus, Andrei began his fitness journey as a high-level canoe sprint athlete, earning two silver medals at the Belarus National Cup in 2006 before transitioning to a full-time coaching career.
During his 10-year coaching tenure in Belarus, Andrei led multiple athletes to gold-medal finishes at the Belarus National Canoe Championships, earning them placements on the Belarus Youth National Team. His ability to develop talent through structured, technical, and individualized coaching quickly earned him recognition in the national sports community.
After moving to the United States with his family, Andrei shifted his focus to functional fitness. In 2018, he became a CrossFit Level 1 certified coach and spent the next four years refining his style and expanding his knowledge base at a local affiliate before officially joining CrossFit Milford.
Today, Coach Andrei is known for his expertise in Olympic weightlifting, gymnastics-based skill development, and technical movement coaching. Whether it’s helping athletes achieve their first bar or ring muscle-up, refine their snatch and clean & jerk technique, or improve movement quality and mobility, Andrei brings precision and purpose to every session.
