Coach
Born in New Jersey and raised in Costa Rica, Coach Dylan Porras discovered CrossFit in 2016 and was immediately drawn to both the methodology and the strong sense of community. After moving back to the U.S. in 2018, Dylan began coaching and quickly turned his passion for fitness into a full-time career.
With a background in competitive basketball, Dylan brings a high-energy, athlete-centered approach to coaching. He has experience not only as a player but also as a coach at the high school and skill camp levels, which has shaped his ability to communicate, motivate, and lead diverse groups effectively.
Since entering the CrossFit world, Dylan has logged thousands of coaching hours, working with individuals of all fitness levels in both group classes and 1-on-1 personal training. He’s known for creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where every athlete feels seen, supported, and challenged—regardless of experience or ability.
